Thanks Lady Heck week isnt much better than hell week. Cant wait tell friday. I will be with non smokers for 3 days. Here is my pledge again I promise not to take one puff ever I promise that I will post if I feel that I need to smoke I will Make it to the cruise ship this time. I promise not to let myself down this time, because I can do this, the strength is there. I just need to utilize it. I promise to reward myself more often. I will control my life, I will not let Nic control me Nic-demon is going down I will work on thinking about the right things and not dewelling on the things I can not change. Day 9 fustrated. The first thing when I get up I have to empty hubbys ash tray. I have asked him to take care of it, but he never does. This is just so unfair. but I am not giving in. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... Sorry about complain about hubby so much, he just fuastrates the heck out of me some times. I love him way to much, so I wont kick his stubborn a@@ out the door. He is a great hubby, great father, great provider, great lover, his only real down fall is being more stubborn than a mule, who does not want to move. I just hope that my desire to be a non smoker will rub off on him. Sure would make things easier. Well I am going outside to where the air is cleaner and fresher. One day at a time. I am going to keep posting but Im not going to post my quit meter every time, because it depresses me to see the numbers so low. Of course that is my fault and I am the only one that can change it. But I am doing well and I am taking charge. Cuddles

BFS, Ok on the first half but not the second - my original quit date was 10/6/06. So I know the other meter would not help, because that makes it about 6 months 2weeks. Right up there with yours. That is what is depressing for me. But I am VERY, VERY happy for you. You have an AWESOME quit going. I felt really bad for you when you slipped way back when, but then you got right back on your feet and fought nic, tooth and nail and you have beat him. Well back to the garden. Had to have a talk with hubby this morning. Explained to him [AGAIN} that I do'nt want to smoke anymore, and I asked him to please not smoke in front of me. His answer was, I plan on quitting, when you go to Maryland next weekend. Guess I will just have to leave the room if he insites on lighting up. Cant wait tell friday, I will be going to Maryland with a group of non-smokers{no kids and no spouses}, for a fiber craft show. We will be gone for 3 days, hopefully there will be a computer at the hotel so I can check in.
