Hi Ron, I'm on Day 6 and am right there with you. Old NIC seems to be relentless today! Deep breathing, distracting myself any way I can, drinking water and getting up from my desk to go and talk to someone for a few minutes has been helping me. If you haven't done so already, might I suggest sitting down and writing a list of all the reasons why you want / need to quit smoking. First, it will give you something to do for a while to keep you busy and secondly, it will help to reinforce those reasons and hopefully, give you some new strength and resolve to keep going. You're twice as far along as I am!! Be proud of that! It took a lot of strength to make it thru these 12 days... you don't want to start over!! Hang in there... Be strong and let us know how you're doing later today. Post again and again if you need to. We're here for ya!! Hi Ronko I replied to your other post in the other forum, but here is a repeat. You can do this!!! Take some deep breaths for one whole minute. You have gone 12 days. That's fantastic. You are not going to let this Nicodemon win. Whatever the reason for you difficulties today, Smoking is not going to help....it will just make it worse. You can work your way through this. It is worth it...being FREE. Just one minute at a time. Do something nice for yourself today, even if it means hiding out. He will not win as long as you do not smoke. Do what you have to do to see the glory of what is on the other side. FREEDOM. and remember It's a choice!
