OH, I thought it was going to get easier, today was a real bad day, I really wanted a smoke, I mean really wanted one, but got by without. When will this headache go away? And today I was sick to my stomach is this a withdrawal symptoon too? You know just sitting here and reading and typing really helps, too bad I have to work and can't just sit here on web site all day. BJ

I am just finishing my first smoke free day, and friend of mine gave me this webstie for support, she said it helped her, so here I am. It has just been the first day and I feel already like it has been a week,my head feels as though it is going to burst. I have been trying to think about and do other things to keep my mind of but it keeps wondering back, this will pass right????????? Well anyway it is nice to see others out there. Thanks!!!!!

Hi bobjo, yes it does get better but you have to be patient. I dont know how long you smoked for but you have to remember that if you smoked for quite a while the withdrawal and the memories of smoking will be with you for a while. Hang in there! It gets a lot easier as time goes on. Just know that what you are doing is probably the single most significant and important thing you can do to improve your life and the life of those around you. Quitting smoking isnt a walk in the park. But you CAN DO IT!!
