Hi Newbkr, Welcome Back! Glad to see you're giving this another shot. With regards to your dizziness, are you using an NRT's to help yourself quit? If you are, the dizziness could be a side effect. In which case, I recommend you consult with your doctor. He may lower the dose of your NRT. If you're not using an NRT it's probably just a result of your body and brain adjusting to all that great O2! Be careful when mobile, get up from sitting to standing slowly. Give yourself a few seconds to adjust before moving. This should pass in a few days, until then take it easy. Check back soon. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi newbkr, Although set backs are to be expected, make sure you learn from them. I'm glad to hear your back in the saddle and showing that addiction who's boss! You're right, facing emotions head on can be scary but it's time to stop coping with cigarettes. Break the chain! Develop new coping methods that will help you deal with those emotions. Whether it's posting here, talking to a friend, keeping a journal or taking a time out for some deep breathing until you stress levels come back down to a manageable level. It's time to replace your habit of reaching for a smoke with a new one. Keep persevering and check back soon if you need some help or more ideas.
