Day 2 update

Whew - what a relief to know that I'm not the only one hearing voices. The difference in routine over the weekend is tough - the habits are so ingrained, and are desperately fighting to prevail. I'm ready to face today - the key is to stay busy, busy, busy. Mookie Keep smacking nicodemons arse until he slinks away - which he will for a while until he see's he may have another chance. If you hear his little voice telling you lies, SHOUT really LOUD at him, jump up run round and confuse the hell out of him. Two days is a great achievement - be proud of it, Joanne My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 31 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 788 Amount Saved: 155 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 18 Mins: 41 Seconds: 8

I'm starting day 2 smoke free. Its not as bad as yest but I hear little voices (the nicodemon) telling me to go light up...just one....Its pretty amazing how the thought just pops up but I smack him down every time....lol. The support from everyone has been such a help....thank you all so much. I'm still feeling very tired and I'm trying to drink plenty of water. Keeping busy around the house and plan to take a nap in a little bit. Didn't get very much sleep last night so I hope the nap will help. Will check back later on. Text

Mookie, you know you can get through Day 2 because you got through Day 1! That is awesome. Now just keep it going. Do whatever it takes -- nap, shop, dance, sing...just don't smoke! Mookie, Kick those voices out and know that you can do this! Keep yourself occupied and distract yourself :) Do what it takes to protect that quit, we are always here to help. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
