Hi PitStop, Sorry - forgot to include my quit meter last time. I'm on week 10 of patches - i'll be off them next week and I'm optimistic. Never tried quitting before, but as so many people say, it's a case of wanting to stop more than wanting to smoke. ...and that's why you sound like you can do it this time. It's 13.15hrs in London and I'm half way through another successful smoke-free day! Coming off the patches

Hi OinkOink2U, I forgot to put a patch on one day, but wasn't as brave (went out to buy some more). The fact that you're doing well without is of great encouragement to me. Keep going, I'm sure you'll make it All the best, Mr Ed My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 72 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,176 Amount Saved: 540 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 2 Mins: 16 Seconds: 6

Having a hard time after lunch =(

Hello again PitStop, We all know that feeling of 'something being missing'. This is just the monster that is your nicotine addiction tying to fool you into giving in. However real that feeling appears to be - THERE IS NOTHING MISSING IN YOUR LIFE IF YOU DON'T SMOKE. I'm on day 72 and it's taken me the best part of that time to realise this. Hang on in there mate All the best Mr Ed My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 72 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,176 Amount Saved: 540 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 2 Mins: 22 Seconds: 49

Cumberland weekend

Tojo, Another fine example of telling the NicoDemon where to stick his addiction. Congratulations on a fantastic 4 month quit!! All the best Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 106 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,193 Amount Saved: 795 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 17 Mins: 55 Seconds: 46

Could today be the day

... actually I'll let you into a little secret. Mr Ed spoke to Mr Coffee in private and they both agreed that they didn't care much for Mr Cig. Mr Ed now sits with Mr Coffee every morning, happy that Mr Cig isn't around. And day by day, Mr Ed is forgetting that he had such a 'friend' as Mr Cig. Mr Ed ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 106 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,193 Amount Saved: 795 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 17 Mins: 56 Seconds: 41

51 Days - Living Life for the First Time

Thanks Eve, I can relate to this so much. I started a thread not so long ago which expressed these sentiments, but ended up as a typical Mr Ed rant. This is eloquent though! Thank you and congrats on your Quit Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 106 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,193 Amount Saved: 795 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 17 Mins: 50 Seconds: 46

OMG What have I DONE!

Hi there. I'd say that the sooner you restart your Quit the better. What triggered the failure in your Quit? Is there anything that we all can learn from this?
