I love a good cruise and it sounds like this one certainly isn't lacking in characters. A bear in a thong, and lots of people wearing blindfolds and dark glasses. I assume that is because it is so bright out here on the ocean!
I will be relaxing in my deck chair enjoying the sea breeze and chilled wine!
So happy to be aboard!

Welcome Minx and Cricket and congratulations on your decision to quit. I used Chantix in my quit and it really helped me. Have you used the Quit Program Tools to the left? I found it to be very helpful. Everyone here is great and they provide a lot of support.
Congratulations and good luck! Minx, Happy Birthday on Wednesday!

Congratulations Alohakeia on 3 weeks! You are doing great! And if you don't mind, I'll congratulate myself as well. It was very hard to vision making it this far when I started, but I am so proud of having made it 3 weeks!
Congratulations all and have a wonderful, smoke free day!

My thanks to everyone for your encouragement and support! You have been great!
Danielle, I intend to reward myself tonight. I am having dinner with a girlfriend, leaving the guys at home to fend for themselves!
I just hit my "feel good button" (much like the Staples easy button) which plays the song by James Brown. A friend gave it to me to help get me through this and it has been great.
I feel good! Thanks!

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Bubba, but it sounds like he would have wanted me to join this parade and share my stats.

Congratulations Alohakeia and me! I can't believe I have been a non-smoker for almost a week. Yeah! I still want a smoke, but I know I can't go back. The cravings are not nearly as bad as they were. It was really nice to be outside most of the day and not have a cigarette. A couple of weeks ago that would have been a reason to smoke all that I could.
Thanks to Alohakeia and everyone here for your support. I would not have made it this far without it!
Alohakeia, we can do this! N.O.P.E.
Have a great day!

By far my greatest reward for not smoking was last week, I just haven't had a chance to post it here. I went for a bone density test and I had to answer some questions regarding my medical history. It asked "Do you smoke?" and I was able to answer NO for the first time in 30+ years! It was such a great feeling. It was just as rewarding to find out I have the bones of a 30 year old, even if they are in a 48 year old body!! Fortunately smoking has not yet taken over my bones, all the more reason to keep the quit!
I still can't believe I have made it almost 3 weeks without a cigarette! Ain't life grand?
Here's hoping Alohakeia is still walking beside me with her quit and hoping all others stay strong!
