Hi Carolin I,m the bear .Do you want to see sad. I,m 68 and have been smoking for over 50 years.Fortunatly I,m still around to talk about it.
I even have a history of cancer in my family !!!I,m sure your aware of the dangers of smoking its common knowledge by now.
But more importantly it,s a highly addictive drug that can damage your health and turn your skin into leather.
Don,t hope the non smoking stays that way do something about it.Come here often,read the post,ask a lot of questions,and talk to you Doctor about quitting. Bear :)

Mavawsc.. I started on 21 mg and still have 2 weeks at that dosage plus 2 weeks at 14mg and 2 weeks at 7. I,ve been told to stay with the program..P.S I,m a 50 + year smoker...

He does,nt sound very supportive to me.Does he not understand how important this is to you.Sounds to me like you,ve got to be a little more assertive , this is YOUR HEALTH he,s messing with.Try doing a little tai chi there are lots of sites on the internet that will explain what it,s all about.It will help you recup and these are very easy exersises to do and there not physically demanding.
