Hi i tried to introduce myself but it didnt post. Your post got me because I did the same thing with the years! I have smoked 35! I can hardly believe it has been that long.

I have smoked for 35 years,the last 10 or so its been 2+pks a day. I mean i am addicted!! Like many say i enjoyed it. Yes i know all the bad nasty things but it just didnt matter. I just could never see me without a cig in my hand. I am still very concerned as this was not a plan. I just started taking a lozenger that someone gave me and it seem to work. Just been a couple days but i am still in shock that i have done this! My last cig was saturday morning 7/8.
I have alot of questions about these lozengers but i guess i should put that somewhere else?

Hi Auntie,i am also a heavy smoker. Are you planning on any aides to help? You can do this, those nasty little things have controled us long enough!

Confused, your history is same as i mine....I went nowhere without my cigs and always had a plan,35 yr 2pks day. I just always saw it as part of who i was. So the change is scary as heck! Hang in there.

Hi Stormy glad you joined the ride. I'm just starting out too,35 years for me :( I sometimes still think i'm dreaming but as far as i know i havent had a smoke in 3 days....Your gonna do just fine. There are some really kind people and they really know what everyone is going through.....wonderful to be able to share this misery. LOL

Oh Miss Weak i sure know what you are talking about! I dont know why i expected so many people to notice i hadnt smoked.....but i did?? And like you some of those people still have not said a word. But by gosh they always said stuff,hounded me when i smoked! Grrrr Does your H smoke? If he doesnt, he just can not know what your going through. I think that is why a place like this is a blessing.
For me i think its because i am so very proud of myself. I just cant believe i have not smoke in three days! This is big stuff to me! So i think i was expecting them to be really excited and glad. Oh well :)

Will i be in withdrawel if i am taking the lozenger? I sometimes get these feeling of tingling in my arms/fingers,kinda creepy. I think i am also getting kinda edgy, ya know getting mad at nothing,feel kind og hyper or something. LOL My poor teenager....her turn now :)
I have been on vacation,I go back to work tomorrow that will be a real test!
