You know, sometimes people are not willing to see the big picture of what it means to quit smoking. Some people just don't understand or just don't get it. Sometimes you will misread people and other times they will misread you. The good news is that it doesn't last and as long as you stick with it, the misunderstandings will be over soon for GOOD. The problem with starting again is that it will prolong the problem and make it last longer and you have to start over with it which sucks. We are going through the same thing and know how you feel, so when you need someone to understand you hop in here and say something :) We are giving you huggies :) I quit smoking on July 6, 2006 at 6:00pm. It has been 4 days, 21 hours, 40 minutes, and 29 seconds since I quit (Not that I am counting or anything). Had I not quit smoking, I would have: * Smoked 98 cigarettes (That's like smoking a 33 foot long cigarette) * Spent $20.99 on cigarettes * Inhaled 980 mg of tar * Inhaled 78 mg of nicotine (That's like doing 1,471 hits of nicotine) * Inhaled 1.08 grams of carbon monoxide * Taken an additional 14 hours, 30 minutes, and 35 seconds off my life

miss weak, my husband hated me when I quit. He felt like I betrayed him. He didn't have any interest in understanding what I was going through, or in praising me. SO, I relied on my friends here at the SSC. SSC members are your support group. Hang in there!
