Hey everyone, I am still here and SMOKE FREE!!!!
4my2girls-I am SO sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Maybe you and your daughter can lay down and watch a movie then take a nap. It must be a full moon or something of that nature. I had a CRAPPY weekend too to say the least. CONGRATULATIONS on your 50 days!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment. Reward yourself, you deserve it. I hope you start feeling better real soon.

Hello everyone,
I am doing MUCH better today. Still smoke free I might add too. My parents come over invited yesterday and all was well. I have decided that when the time is right I will just ask them if they still have a key to my house and if they do to please not use it unless they have our permission. Hopefully that will get the ball rolling and they will understand that yes it may be their home but I am renting it from them and they wouldn't go into the house if anyone else were renting it without permission. I love my parents to death and don't know what I would do without them, but they are going to have to come to the realization that I am grown and have a life of my own regardless if thye agree with everything I do or not.
I really appreciate everyone's help with this. I am sure without you all I would have smoked and I DO NOT want to do that.
4my2girls~Sorry I don't have the instant messager downloaded, I am usually at work when I am on this site and don't think it would be a good idea to download that on a company computer. Do you know of any other way we can exchange e-mail addresses though??
Have a WONDERFUL SMOKE FREE day today everyone, and THANKS again!!!!!

4my2girls~I am glad I am not the only one that doesn't have the nerve to tell my parent's to keep their mouth shut, and opinions to themselfs. I don't feel so weak now. Thank you SOOOO much for your support. It really does help to know that there is someone else in almost the same boat as I am. We have so much in common its almost scary but comforting in the same sense too. I never would have thought anyone was crazy enough to rent a home from their over opiniated (sp?) parents/parent-in-laws.
I am SOOO glad that I decided to quit when I did though instead of waiting until April 1st like I had planned. I know I wouldn't have been as strong as I am now with my quit so the chance of a slip would have definately been greater and that could have ended up being very bad.
Thanks for all the support everyone. God knows I needed it to be successful.

The best advice I can give you is to be supportive of whatever choice he makes. Love him no uncondituionally and let him know you are there for him no matter what. This may upset you but I feel it needs to be said.......Remember you married him as a smoker and you accepted it then so even though you have quit you should still accept him whether he is a smoker or not. Just let him know how you feel without putting him down and let him know you are there for him when he is ready. Sit down and have a heart to heart talk or write him a letter letting him know how you feel. Most of all keep strong in your quit. He may not admit it now but you will be a good role modle for him. You are both in my thoughts. Keep strong, we are all here for you.

I think a couples reward sounds like a GREAT idea. No one ever said that rewards have to be for you and you alone, just something that makes you happy right??I am glad you are starting to let go of some of the anger you have towards him. Just be supportive and the rest will fall into place. Enjoy your reward, you deserve it :)
