hello again elaine, what made me finally quit for good was deciding i didn't like going through withdrawals. if i was going to go through it, i was gonna see it through...just so i didn't have to do it again!
work through the program tools again. come here and post instead of lighting up. whatever it takes. and maybe next time cigs are left where you can get to them....take one out of the pack and shred it into the ashtray! do that everytime you have a crave. you won't be smoking and it may have the added benefit of 'helping' the smokers remember to take them with them.
keep trying elaine!

my second hello to you today tennielle!
The first time I played a video game with my son, my character fell down, tripped, got hit by bombs, etc, etc.
Once I played the game a few times, I learned when to jump, when to duck, when to move slow, and when I could run!
I do alot more running now! ;p and so will you.

hi rsw! it's great to see you again! I'm glad you haven't given up quitting.
When I hit that freedom point, it scared me too. I spent the day awed by the fact that I did it, it was real, I was never going to smoke again. Up to that point I don't think I really believed it. I got through it by bringing my focus back down to one day at a time. Forever was too long, I wasn't ready to think of life without cigs.
Good luck to you rsw! You deserve the freedom!
