OMG Gimm I feel bad for you, having to go through all those withdrawls symptoms again. I don't think those lozenges are very good, my girlfriend's husband quit a while back and he is still buying those lozenges they seam to be just as addictive as cigarettes. I tried them when I first quit but I din't like them and decided to go cold turkey. Did you ever try the patch a lot of people seam to succeed with the patch. HOPE you don't smoke even though it's hard....good luck.

Thank you Samantha for the post, I want to stop eating after 8:00 pm. but its hard to do when your not use to this. I never had a weight problem before but in the last two years I'm always 5 to 10 lb over my comfort zone. Hopefuly with the hints you gave us and the site to check out it will help. I often find myself wanting to eat even when I'm not hungry it's just a bad habit, plus the food tastes good.... lol

Hey Steelroots, what your saying makes a lot of sense to me. Everytime I tried to quit I always watched my weight at the same time. I've been smoke free for 143 days and I have not gained weight. I've been exercising a lot more since my quit. I think if I were to gain to much weight I would also want to start smoking again.
For me quitting smoking and exercising go hand in hand. I don't think I would be able to quit without the exercises, I find it releives a lot of anxiety.
I also try not to replace food with cigarettes cause I think we could become addicted to food cause food is comforting.

Oh! Gimm I hope you stay strong and not smoke. I know you feel a bit yuckie for putting on a few pounds but maybe you can try going for some walks it could help with the craves and the weight. Even if you start smoking again it does not mean you would loose weight. Today I went and bought some nicotine patches for my husband he wants to try and quit. The sales clerk told me her Mom quit with chantix, one day she just did not want to smoke anymore. Jim our SSC friend also says he quit with Chantix.
Gimm instead of blowing your quit maybe you can try the patch or chantix.
Good Luck
