Coping with triggers and more...

OK it is reassuring to see that I have not lost my mind and I have not become a bi$&# in this quit smoking process. It does make things harder when hubby pressures me into smoking. I agree it might be just his way of seeing if I am ready to give up my quit. But I will make sure next time it happens that I will make it clear for him that smoking is not an option for me. He can do whatever he wants - but it would be such a pity. I fought hard to get to this point. I don't plan to go through the beginnings of this journey. Ever.
Thank you guys for the wonderful advice.

All aboard for a musical train ride to .....

Now that is one I wouldn't miss. Great idea Kaiser... And if there will be any smoke in the air that will be from all the BBQ. I'll let you lead the train, buddy, but I'll be close by on my bike. No way I would see Tennessee any other way... lol

Blog of the Month - May

I loved your blog. Back in the day when I lived on this website, I was "snooping" around people's blogs and that is how I've discovered yours. Loved it because of the intensity of it. And yes, Todash is right. When you are new to this quit thinggy and you discover that someone else felt the same way at a certain point in their quit, it does make you feel better. You are not alone in your quest. And if other people survived it, that means you, the rookie, can survive too.
Great job PB!

Hall of Fame May - Todash!

Todash, I hope you know how much you bring to the table on this website. There are so many times when I log in just to check on my stats and before I know it, I start reading one of your wonderful stories and time just goes by. You are a very special person. And I am happy to have "met" you.
Congratulations on a well deserved honor!

Stressful Day!!!

Kaiser is SO right - this is why your nickname is Rock - to show what you're made of. When everything comes at you, instead of finding the easy way out and just give in and smoke, you start analyzing your emotions, put them in check and then move on to the next step. Oh, let's not forget one other thing you excel at... rewarding yourself...
Great job Rock.
