I'd love to join you for a smoke-free day at the beach!  Sounds wonderful!  Stay strong, Deb.  It is so, so worth it.  Whenever you have those urges, look long at your son and remember the reasons you want to quit.  XO

I'm still here and needing a hand.  Still smoke free but really really craving.  This is the timeframe I failed before so I am reaching out, and at the same time committing to a smoke free weekend!  I promised myself and my son a day at the beach tomorrow to try and offset the cravings.  I extend my hand to anyone who wants to keep smoke free and play at the beach tomorrow!

I'm willing to take the pledge - my last cigarette was 4/9/10 - so this weekend will be my 1 week.  Hooray.

Yesterday was hard - I always smoked in MY car when by myself - yesterday was day 5 and also the day I go to my mom's every week - but I made the trip about 3 hours without a smoke (hopefully it gets easier) but I made it and that's what my goal is.

Take my hand and I'll take a hand - good suggestion.

I'll take Ashley's hand and pledge to be smoke free this weekend!  I extend my hand to the next person....
P.S.  I am driving 4 hours back to Slippery Rock, PA later today.  I remember the first long drive after quitting.  How could I drive 4 hours and not smoke?  I'm so glad I don't smoke anymore!  I can now focus on driving instead of where did my cigarette lighter go???  Can I crake the window so the car doesn't smell?  LOL!  So for those who worry whether they can drive and not smoke, trust me, it can be done!

My Mileage:

My Quit Date: 8/20/2008
Smoke-Free Days: 604
Cigarettes Not Smoked: 24,160
Amount Saved: $6,040.00
