my ex and i used to do this all the time..quit and then see if the other would cave- why because it was sooo much easier to forgive yourself cheating if your quit partner did too.  i did it to him he did it to me...thank god he's an ex hahaha... but to keep your relationship together...he might be feeling a huge crave and begging for you to slip so it would be ok that he gave in... stick to your quit... i bet he will too!

OK it is reassuring to see that I have not lost my mind and I have not become a bi$&# in this quit smoking process. It does make things harder when hubby pressures me into smoking. I agree it might be just his way of seeing if I am ready to give up my quit. But I will make sure next time it happens that I will make it clear for him that smoking is not an option for me. He can do whatever he wants - but it would be such a pity. I fought hard to get to this point. I don't plan to go through the beginnings of this journey. Ever.
