Sparky hang in there- know that your husband is in good hands. A mild heart attack is like a warning to get healthy while you can. My father had a massive attack last year and he is now healthier then I have seen him in years. I know that it is tough but make sure you take care of yourself also, keep up your quit.

I like the idea of conjuring up the warrior in us all to face every obstacle, but especially the fight with the demon. I also am actually getting into the practice of self denial. I find that saying no to myself is quite refreshing after indulging in my habit for so long.
Thanks for the post.

Wynn- This is big- use this 30 days as a prop for the next 30, and and then use your 60 days to get you to the beach. It will get easier. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but I can't tell you how much quitting has changed my life. I use my 98 days like a shield, it is something I am proud of and don't ever plan on giving it up!!!.
Keep quitting every day WYNN, let's all look at life like a non smoker.

One of you posts was the first thing I read on this site. I was suffering badly, and came across the SSN and randomly clicked on a topic in the forum section. A big post of yours came up listing all of the positive ways quitting has changed your life, and it was really inspiring. Thanks man- and congratulations, you have done it.

Hang in there girl- I too have had some strange side effects. After the first couple of weeks my mouth was filled with painful canker sores, and believe it or not, I just went through the same thing last. After 3 months!
I glad you got checked and everything seems OK. This just confirms it once again: smoking does a number on your body.
Be well,
Tim
