day 14 on zyban

Hello-
I am on day 14 - the Zyban is really messing with me(dreams, insomnia, loss of appetite) but feel somewhat strong and very weak at the same time. My energy is low.
That's all for now

day 14 on zyban

Thanks for the support . Feel much better today. The meds are hard on me but they beat what happens when I try cold turkey. I am assaulting my addiction from all angles, using herbs and vitamins as well. I must say that the Zyban is helping the withdrawal
symptoms, but you must really have a passion for quitting no matter what method you are using. I am in this for good. I am done with tobacco. Thanks again to all who have given support.
Tim

yuck mouth

That will go away on its own. Yuck mouth is the right thing to call it. My family is so much happier without me breathing that foul odor on them and I have more confidence when I talk to them or customers at work.
Keep with it. The first day and week are the worst  but you CAN do it Pookie!!!
You should be proud of yourself.

just sounding off

Deb- I just try to imagine my body shedding all of the toxins that I have dumped into it over the past 23 years. I also am taking vitamins every day and I really do seem to be gaining some of the strength and energy that I previously had.
I hope you will start to feel better soon, and remember that you are winning this war. Keep your guard up,
Tim

please folks , don't let your guard down !

Mike- just had the same thing happen to me. It was a test. I am so glad I passed, and I am glad you did not give in as well.
I really had myself convinced for a couple of minutes that I could buy a pack and just have one and then throw it away.
Although I have been so determined with this quit, that damn demon showed me that he can come back any time.A momentary lapse of reason will lead to starting it all over. Stay strong- keep the quit.

Confused

Sparky Hang In There!!!! I am with you 100%, as I have been having the same mental cravings and having a hard time with it.
I have the feeling that I need something, there is a void that cannot be filled with anything else. I know that this will pass.
I have faith in that and that is what is carrying me through. Just do without. I imagine a world without cigarettes, or tell myself that I can no longer afford to smoke.  I know that another month will make a difference and this latest assult will end.
Stay strong, keep quitting.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ME AND BOB

Excellent Marivi, your commitment to others is inspiring. You were the first person to respond to my post when I was feeling really bad, and I thank you for it.
Bob way to go- you also are one of the reasons I am still here and still a quitter.
You both set a fine example of helping others by helping yourselves.
