I never let myself get to the point of hungry. I'm always eating something. Rewards are difficult for me because when I want something I usually do it. If I do the water and mints and the gum and all that other stuff I will get past it. Today was a bear of a day at work and I have a feeling tomorrow will be too. I found myself thinking that today would be a good day for a cigarette.I am going to start a new thread because this one is getting real slow in loading again.

So I've been told that the second week is heck week. Hell week wasn't really all that bad so I'm hoping this week will be better. Today was very trying at work and I did notice for the last few days that some things made me angry or upset quicker than usual. Thankfully I have another program that has tought me to respond rather than react so that has helped a great deal. I'm pretty much at peace MOST times. LOL

Today feels better once again. It's going to be another stressful day of which I don't have many at work. I believe it will all be ok.

I'm not totally convinced that the nicotine is all out of my body yet. Just the dryness of my mouth when I am sleeping and the anxiety. Whatever it is it will be gone soon enough. Thanks Kelly

Things haven't been so bad today. Thank God for Chantix because I would hate me and so would everyone else. I can't believe how calm I've been with the exception of 1 day I remember. It's a beautiful thing.

I feel very strongly that there is nothing you can do for anyone else if you haven't taken care of yourself. I also was told on this site that I had to want this more than I wanted to smoke. If you can't stop biting people then maybe a couple or 3 days away from "Everyone" would do it. If you can't do that then you need to remind everyone of what you are trying to do and most likely they will all understand. I know one thing though and that is that if you do it over and over then people eventually don't understand having to go thru it yet again. So make up your mind, do you want to be a healthy you, a better worker and a better mom and wife. Because if you quit smoking you will be a better everything. I was very hesitant at first before my quit and some people on here really did not think I was going to do this, but I kept posting and I kept getting all the positive feedback. If you can, get some chantix, it really really helps to not bite people. I'm the worst about that and this time I haven't bit anyone so far. Maybe a nibble or two.:p
We are here for you, keep trying. This could be the best treat you will ever give yourself. You deserve it.

Thanks Audrey but I did post in there and I see there are others still posting. It's great I love it.
I'll check out the stats section. I think I have, isn't that the place where the big list is?
Am I supposed to be able to add me or something?

So Daily Llama got it right. I had 11 day's yesterday so that means that I am now 2 day's away from being two weeks quit. What a wonderful thing. I still want a cigarrette a lot but not constantly. When I get agrivated. It's funny I get aggrivated because I'm withdrawing from these nasty things and then when I get aggrivated I want one. Oh man oh man.
I'm not sure which long post you are talking about. Was it in my first "I need chat" thread?

Oh? You got all that out of my post there? Hmmm I'll have to reread it again. I don't see the fear thing. I just see that I am anxious.

I'm confused and don't seem to be able to even find the darn post now. I do remember what you are talking about though and I believe it must be the things that she was talking about in the insecurities
