Hey Waif!!!

You really are getting after that old nicodemon!!!  Look at that....  11 days so far!!!  You'll be through Heck Week in no time!!!   It will still take a little bit of time, but I do PROMISE that it DOES get easier and the strength of the cravings WILL diminish!!!  Just try to keep focused and keep your eyes on the prize!!!

You really are doing it and you really are now a Non-smoker!!!  Keep it positive as much as you can, and the days will start to go by a little bit faster and before you know it, you'll be celebrating week and month milestones!  It's just right around the corner!  So, keep breathing deep, try to exercise a bit more, do something different every day that you have always wanted to do!  You can do it and we'll be here to help!

Thanks guys and gals.  I realllly would have liked to have one of those evil cylindrical objects today!  I kept telling myself I want a cigarette so I can die younger-so I can look older- so I can have stinky hair etc...  it worked for today and that's all that counts right now today!
It is nice to have some people who know what it is like to listen and share.

Waif, you are doing awesome!  I have to agree with everybody, things will get better!  They call it Hell Week, Heck Week and Blah Week for a reason!  You are winning the fight!  Those 11 days (if I do the math correctly) are looking great on ya!  After you are done with Miss Marple's shed, I have another 50 bags of mulch that need to go in the front flower beds!    Keeping taking it one day at a time and you'll go far!

Good job, Waif!  It will get easier as time goes on.  While you still have that spurt of energy, I've got a shed and a workshop that need to be cleaned up....

You are doing so good.  Keep it up!

Waif, you are on a roll.  Look at you....300 cigarettes not smoked already! You have worked a long time to teach your body how and when to light up.  It will take more effort to retrain your brain how to deal with these moments without a smoke.

I, too, kept busy....and accomplished more in my first 100 days than I have in the past 2 years around the house.  Keep moving.  Look for other ways to distract yourself.  Do anything to defeat the demon (except don't park in front of the cookie jar like I did).  Post whenever the get the urge.....someone will be around to kick your ash!

Keep the Quit,

Dave

Welcome!!!  You are doing great.  The feelings you have are normal and will pass.  The main thing to remember you have 10 days behind you and you never have to do them again as long as you don't smoke.  Keep your quit going.
