Life as a non smoker is wonderful. I found you have to really want to quit or it wont work. After you quit you will have gravings and urges, but you have to remember it is just a thought and you don't have to act on it. Think about it......every time you think you need to eat, or have a nap or want to strangle someone lol. You don't act on it and neither do you have to have a smoke, it's only a thought, don't dwell on it and don't act on it. Reward yourself, big or little it's something to look forward to. I went every Thur and had a cappuccino, my treat for quitting and I only had one that day, something to look forward to. Don't look for that money you save it just ain't there lol, but you are going to feel like you won the lottery now that you are not tied to smoking. I recently had to go for a pre-op check up, (bunion surgery ouch!) the nurse said to me my lungs were good I must not be a smoker, that made me feel so good to know all traces are gone.
