It was good, I got very stressed driving there and bought cigs in a garage on the way. I didn't open the pack and threw them away once we got there and I had relaxed a bit. I think that was a good lesson for me. I bought them in the middle of stress, aggravation and extremely high cravings, decided to wait a while fully believeing that I HAD TO HAVE A CIGARETTE OR I WOULD KILL! and it passed, I recognised it had passed and I didn't want one. Now I know that theres no point wasting my money if i feel like that again! It will pass! The weekend felt a bit like I was mourning, I think I was letting go in some respect! Congratulations on your successes! You got the job, and have taken back your life from the ND, that's awesome!!! And a separate and special congratulations for seeing the dentist. That alone is worthy of applause and acclaim, I don't know many people who look forward to seeing the dentist, and so, you're definately not alone there lol! Again, congratulations, My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 547 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21,880 Amount Saved: $10,940.00 Life Gained: Days: 50 Hrs: 16 Mins: 48 Seconds: 18

I got the job!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to London. I had fillings done on my teeth for the first time and I was so scared! (hate the dentist) I've been out socialising! I've gone and had a few drinks! I'm living my life, and I haven't smoked! I get strong cravings still after meals or coffee but I know they'll go away! Life is good! Good news, Paula... I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the call-back was because you looked confident in yourself (in your Quit). you did it and you showed us all here's how to manage stressors during a quit and keep posting, you're doing the right thing there for stress and for your quit social support is a huge beneficial factor. you'll always definitely get social support here and you'll find yourself naturally giving social support....by coming often to SSC you're optimising your stress-bustin quotient and maximizing your quits permanence. your posts help a lot of people elaine My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2008 Smoke-Free Days: 55 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,100 Amount Saved: 409.75 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 6 Mins: 32 Seconds: 7
