Congrats, ICL. Perhaps your non "stinky" self has more confidence just because you don't smell of smoke?? Got a call back for a 2nd interview next Thursday! They liked me, probably cos I didn't stink! Or maybe its because I was a bit crazy and they thought I'd fit in! ICL, Great work, and many congratulations on getting through the toughest week unscathed. Now you know that you could beat the junkie in week one, you should feel full of confidence that you'll be able to do so more easily in the future. Every time you beat the demon, it leaves you that little bit stronger, and the demon weaker. You're winning, ICL. Be proud of yourself. Thanks guys, I was actually thinking of calling the comapny and telling them that there was an emergency and I'd be out of the country for a few days!!! I was really going to be hiding in my bed! But I'm unemployed at the moment, and if I ever want to get some work, I'll have to go to interviews! So leaving the country or hiding in bed isn't gonna work! I got it into my head then that the interview was more about me not smoking than getting the job, so I wasn't nervous during the interview and it was really good, I was myself and it felt good. I laughed and joked and enjoyed it and interviews without cigs are no longer scary! ICL Good for you. You have done a wonderful thing for yourself by not buying into the notion that a cigarette will have any effect on the outcome of the interview. It is you they are interviewing, and I doubt very much if being a smoker is one of the qualifications for the position. I could be wrong. but I don't think so. Stay well. You are doing a marvelous job... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 424 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,720 Amount Saved: $4,452.00 Life Gained: Days: 79 Hrs: 3 Mins: 5 Seconds: 1
