Herbal cigarettes may be tobacco-free and nicotine-free, but they are far from risk-free. Get rid of the junkie thinking folks. This 'safe'(ROFL bullsh*t cough bullsh*t) cigarettes are not safe. In fact many are more dangerous than the regular nicotine cigarettes. There is no such thing as a safe cigarette. Sure it is safe, until you set it on fire. There is nothing safe about inhaling smoke into your lungs. No matter what cigarette you smoke, smoke is going to have tar and carbon monoxide in it and other toxins as well. Kerin take the next step in your quit. Start embracing today and tomorrow. Embracing being a non smoker. Stop reminiscing yesterday. If you are having problems dealing with other things in life then realize it is those things you are having problems with and get active on dealing with that. Smoking isn't going to solve anything. It never has and it never will. You have a lot of quit days under your belt ... don't give them up for anything. Get on with your new smoke free life. Stop mourning. Cigarettes are not worth mourning. Kerin anmd Misty I am going to echo what Mr. Cybrduke says - IT DOES GET BETTER. Now. Smoking anything is not going to make any of this better. Smoking will only confuse you even more. Set your mind straight you are quit and you are not smoking. This can be one of the toughest and most challenging things that you can ever do and you are in a fight for your life. There is a post from someone named KIWI on this board. They say that they have got through just on keeping their agreement with themselves to give themselves the experience of being smoke free for a particular time, (their case a year). Know that you are going through and having some emotional and trying times. Find someone, a counsellor, a minister, a trusted friend and talk it out. Smoking this problem will not do anything for the problem. It will only have you feeling worse and besides you will smell. Rediscover your reasons for quitting and get back in the saddle. You get to run this show not the addict or junkie or nicodemon or whatever you want to call the part of you that desires and is addicted to smoking. You get to choose, you get to run the show. I will watch for you through the day. Keep posting here. Posting here has got me through more than once. Hi Smoked and Misty, You remember why you chose the name "smoked out?" Because you were sick and tired of killing yourself with smokes. We all have those HORRIBLE days. I have been crying alot lately also. When you feel so horrible, look at the positive. It has got to get better, right?, because you know at that time that it can't get any worse~! Marie always states it so beautifully. Don't smoke, it is bad for you. You can do this one day at a time. My heart goes out to you both. I pray that you are feeling better soon. Just remember that smoking will not make you feel better. That is a lie. It will make you feel worse. This whole addiction is about deception. How could we allow ourselves to spend sooooo much money on something that is only doing us harm????? Smoking is THE BIG LIE. IT WILL NOT MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER!!! I know when the cravings come I feel like an animal trapped in a cage. The only thing that we want to do is the thing that we are so desperately trying to stay away from. You feel so trapped. Soon, we will all be out of that horrible trap, living in freedom. Stay strong ladies. My best to you. These herbal smokes may not have nicotine, but they deliver smoke and thousands of other chemicals, right? I know it seems hard right now but stick with it and it will pass - I promise you. It gets better. Don't let junkie thinking get a hold of you. Nic still wants you hooked and it will try many ways of convincing you it's okay to smoke. You know better. Good luck - keep posting - you can make it through this slump. Don't give in! 43 days youve already proved you dont need to smoke. There is just gonna be days like this, but they come less often after a while, if you want to stay quit you just have to ride them through, ONE SMOKE will not make you feel better I hope you make it , Remember you are ( SMOKED OUT ) :) Tresa My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/8/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1488 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 29,769 Amount Saved: $5208 Life Gained: Days: 204 Hrs: 17 Mins: 58 Seconds: 10

Misty, Your path is not an easy one and you should know that you are dong great! A bath sounds good and please make sure you reward yourself and take some you time :) This is normal and it will pass! Your journal writing is a great way to release that extra stress and I am sure your husband appreciates this. Take a day and make it about you only, do something nice for yourself and give yourself the credit you deserve, because you are doing a great job! Keep strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.

smoked out, Keep on the right path and avoid these herbal nicotine free cigarettes. You have come so far and you have 42 days to brag about. We all have crazy days and we need to push them aside and continue on :) What are you using for coping mechanisms? You can also keep yourself occupied and make a list of chores, hobbies and activities. Choose something everyday and really put yourself into it! Don't forget to make a list of rewards and choose from it often, this can be a great motivator for milestones reached :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
