Hunger Pains

Gonna, now I can tell hubby what that thing is in the middle of his tummy :eg: Sorry to hear that the extra pounds love you so much that they don't want to leave. But you will get rid of them, I know that. What helped me with this quit is I changed some of the foods I eat. Like I don't eat cookies very often (sigh) and I don't have my 500 calorie coffee anymore (weeping). With it being nice I can get out and do more. I walk, I exercise (Curves 30 minute workout) and I try to eat right. How boring is that LOL. Well you can look at it this way - There is more of you to love and who wouldn't love you :) Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 73 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 730 Amount Saved: $219.00 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 22 Mins: 6 Seconds: 29

I have the same caloric intake, if not considerably less, and have increased my exercise somewhat....still no results. I have went from a size 6P to a 10P since I quit! I have a "back roll" for goodness sake! Yes, I figure that by next summer I will definately have a 'holder' big enough to hold an ice cold beer while in the pool (light beer, of course!) Well Gonna - Now we are all going to be jealous! Who wouldn't want a built in cup holder. I'm not very good at the dieting thing but I guess it's a good thing that exercise has become my new method of stress reduction. Mind you...if things get much more stressful or I get much more cranky, I'm gonna have to move my bed into that gym!! I'm going to practice my healthy snacking tomorrow because supper will be late (We'll see how cranky I am by 7:30)....In the meantime, I'm going to find me one of those built in cup holders...You have ALL the kewl stuff! I can blame my crankiness on quitting smoking or dieting! It certainly cannot be a PERMANENT trait....! LOL!!! I have noticed, since I have gained weight, that my belly-button has gotten deeper and the 'hole' wider. :8o: I am worried that by next summer when I am floating in the pool, I will have a built-in cup-holder! :gasp: I watch what I eat and exercise.....why is this happening??????? I simply have seen NO results and it is depressing!!!!! Fat free yogurt....yummy :) 94% fat free popcorn....you can eat the whole bag. It's very filling and pretty low in calories. It only counts as 3 points by the weight loss plan I am following. Windy, Another good snack (if you like it) is cottage cheese. A little goes a long way. Congrats on the weight loss! And thanks to Ms Rusty, I'm trying to get myself back on the healthy wagon and I think you've given me just what I was looking for. Gracias :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1069 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21,380 Amount Saved: $4,810.50 Life Gained: Days: 81 Hrs: 15 Mins: 28 Seconds: 0

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Today I put chicken and rice in the crock pot and I am sitting here nice and full and content ... Unfortunately, it will likely be a little dry by the time hubby gets home at 7:00. Next time I am in the grocery store, I am going to get some high fiber/high protein snacks. You know, when I was dieting, I gave up afternoon snacks so that I had calories left for a snack at night (but that was when hubby was working out of province) I was starving at 5 p.m. but I could always come straight home from work and eat. Now that he doesn't get home until after 7, I need to have some healthy snacks to tide me over. Plus, when I eat supper at 7:30, I don't really need a treat at night. And it is FOR SURE time to have a smoothie....it's been ages! In fact, I think I might have one while hubby has supper tonight....It's been one of those days. Soooooooooo for 3:00 snacks (that last) we have nuts, crackers and cheese .... and???
