I feel strange

16 years ago 0 301 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I feel strange too, and this after 314 days. I guess this means that strange is normal ?? I'll go with that ! Seriously though, these wierd spaced out feelings will pass. accept them as a sign of your body going through a healing process and enjoy it. You are all doing so well. Keep the faith Cheers KiwiKeith My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/29/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 314 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,850 Amount Saved: $3,642.40 Life Gained: Days: 46 Hrs: 20 Mins: 12 Seconds: 7

I also feel kinda strange (not like my past quits) and i went cold turkey so i don't know. I feel better but it is good to know that the dizziness and spacey feeling is affecting others as well :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/7/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 20 Amount Saved: $3.60 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 2 Mins: 53 Seconds: 52

I am also having the strange sensation. I was figuring it was my Chantix. It is nice to see I am not alone! I agree! I feel very strange today. When I was leaving to go to class I actually checked my pockets just like I always used to. It was very weird. It does help just telling yourself that those feelings will go away. They do after about 5 minutes or so. I'm on day 4, yaaahhoooo!! Hey stop i'm pretty early in my quit like you and yes i have some days where I feel like i'm not sure whats going on and something doesnt seem right to me... I use to smoke a lot after certain activites like watching a movie, eating a meal, or watching a sporting event but I dont anymore and my body and mind is trying to take that in. All you have to remember and what I remember is that sooner or later all these feelings will go away and you have a brand new healthier look on life :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/26/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 60 Amount Saved: $17.25 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 6 Mins: 40 Seconds: 52

Stop, YOu are receiving tons of oxygen that your brain and blood stream are not use to. Basically....you are feeling high. Relax and enjoy it. It will pass. Your body will adjust at it's own pace. You have to go with the flow....and do nothing other than... not smoke. The rest takes care of itself. Your doing great. Why not give yourself a little reward for being so good these past few days. A little something just for you. Ps: rent a good movie and give your mind a break for a few hours. It is a great way to enjoy a needed escape for a while.
