Hey Freedombound, I'm sorry I missed your post before.
I can SO relate to that -- I quit many times, never for more than a few hours.
I know some other people have mentioned it, but there are so many new drugs out there now that this agony is really not necessary! Do you have a doctor? If so, if I were you, I'd make an appointment, get an RX for chantix, and set a quit date far enough into the future for the chantix to do its thing. That would also give you time to develop and use all of the great tools here at SCC, not the least of which is loading up your crash cart with gum, carrots, candies... whatever.
If you make your doctor part of your quit, I'll bet you anything it will really "take" this time.
