7 Mg Patches

17 years ago 0 2631 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I guess it's different for everybody - The first week on patches (21 mg) was by far the hardest - I was climbing the walls as I began detoxing....after afew weeks it got better. The step down to 14 mgs was relatively painless but I did find it a little harder to go from 14 to 7. The great news - I noticed hardly any difference between 7 mgs and nothing! Good luck all My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 175 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,515 Amount Saved: $875 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 2 Mins: 52 Seconds: 28

I will be very interested to know how your day went, Otis. I dropped down to 14 mg. 1 1/2 weeks ago. I had a day or two where I felt agitated. I drank lots of water. Back to normal now. I drop down to 7mg in a couple of weeks. Keep us posted on your progress, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,515 Amount Saved: $450 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 16 Mins: 20 Seconds: 1

All three of you are doing very well. Try and look at it positively, this is the smallest dosage patch. You have got through the first two stages of quitting with patches. Be proud and look forward to going nekkid in a few weeks time!!! Good luck, I'll be watching for progress reports. This is Day 3 for after stepping down to 7mg patches. I definately feel that the cravings/thoughts are more insistent in their approach. I am having to be a tougher with my response. They have not increased in number though. I have noticed headaches - anyone else? Yes, a little uncomfortable. Doesn't matter though. I'm not giving up what I have gained so far. - ENERGY!!!!! otis, Always check with your doctor and pharmacist for information on medications and dosages. Follow the patch program to the letter and it you need to, prepare for those craves with coping mechanisms :) Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
