Sloane, Discuss any side effect you're experiencing with your doctor. Sometimes a slight adjustment in dose may be all you need. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

i went to the doctor and found my "cold" was severe allergies, and my hair loss has to do with my hormones. it's not thyroid based, but they are inner related... chantix makes me very nauseated, being that i have to take it with breakie and with dinner. other than that, i'm in pretty good shape... check out my quit meter! i'm over the cold i had but now, when i shower, my hair has been falling out in small clumps. is this a normal withdrawal/chemistry change? i haven't lost so much for it to be noticeable, just a little unnerving... :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 338 Amount Saved: $71.5 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 11 Mins: 8 Seconds: 30

Check w/ your doc. Stress can do it as well as thyroid disease. This happened to me when my thryoid was getting better. I had already been diagnosed w/ it prior to the quits. My doc did a blood panel and my thyroid was actually getting better. She adjusted the meds and it stopped. Sorry you have been under the weather and have allergies. That is no fun... but, glad to hear the hair loss isn't anything serious. Phil's comment had us concerned! :confuse: My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 49 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,483 Amount Saved: $392 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 2 Mins: 36 Seconds: 51
