Sounds like your first day was quite a test---one in which you passed with flying colors! I am so sorry to hear about your son and hope he is okay. Give your wife a big hug...that 'momma's guilt-trip' (assigned to women from the time we give birth), can be overwhelming at times! You are truly amazing to KTQ under such pressure! Congratulations!

Congrats on 2 smoke free days! That is wonderful! I'm glad to hear your child is going to be ok. I hope your wife doesn't beat herself up too much. I understand though, I'd probably beat myself up too. I guess it is just a 'Mom' thing. I think we'll all agree there's no such thing as a good first day! ....But it's over now, gone and you should take strength from the fact that you did it despite that stressful situation at the hospital. Tomorrow you will wake up to day 3. Then soon a week.... Blink and you'll be on 200 odd days and responding to a new quitter! take care Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 225 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,765 Amount Saved: 1687.5 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 14 Mins: 24 Seconds: 24
