Dear finally done 2006 -
Welcome! and know that what you are going through is normal. It's your body waking up to fresh air - cleaning out your system...getting oxygen into places that have had minimal oxygen for a long, long time.
Hang in there - I know that you can do this! It's ok to go a little
wild at first in the craving candy department. Keep plenty of cold water on hand, might want to try sugar free hard candies, and straws cut in half to satisfy the breathing in and out thing.
Another thing that I learned to do is to lie on the floor with the lights dimmed and concentrate on relaxing, emptying your mind and thinking only about relaxing. Start with your toes and work your way up to the top of your head - relaxing every part of your body...staying calm and just lie there.
You are doing a wonderful thing for your body. This will be the best thing ever! It just takes some time!!
Keep Strong!
Island Girl
