Hi, I am on my 3rd day as well. Since I stopped at about 14.30 on the 1st of January, I calculate I will be finished with my first 72 hours in about 4 hours... I still haven't felt a really intense craving, am just convinced I am doing the right thing but god, do I spend time in speculation! Am supposed to finish a website asap but in reality, travel from the Stop Smoking Center, which helps me a lot and pace around in my appartment, speculating on my brand new life as a non-smoker, counting the days, the hours and the minutes. In conclusion, I feel quite really good, without too much intense craving but my productivity is close to zero. Thanks for having highlighted this pretty useless state of the first 3 days, it makes me feel in familiar territory... I know it will get better afterwards... And I am still really happy to be a non smoker right now. The SSC is invaluable for me at this stage, Thanks a lot! Good post, thanks for the words. I am on day three and your message was very lifting. The withdraw signs I am having are the blahs, I am so lazy. I am currently on my 2nd episode of Charmed, my goal is to make myself turn off the tv and get a shower at 10. I have done some reading on the site and checked my glove compartment. I have my jump start for the day. Wish me luck and send me support. Thanks Debbie

At first laying in bed this morning wasn't very cool. I've been having some very weird, yet entertaining dreams too. The one thing about my job is the fact that I get to work on weekends. I'm doing my usual 9-6 today, and then tomorrow and Monday I'm off. I get to house sit tonight, so on my way over, I'm getting a pint of my favorite beer, eating a nice t-bone, and potato, and playing in a poker tourney. I'm figuring this will be a really nice reward for myself, and with my wife going out to dinner with her friends the tourney will keep me occupied. I only get to eat this way about once a month too, so I'm looking forward to that as well.
