any suggestions for a sore throat

18 years ago 0 86 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
The old fashion Listerine. Even though I'm in the beginning of my quit I asked my doctor about this. My throat has been bothering me. He said to use listerine. If it's too strong add a little water to it but using it full strength is best. Once a day will kill any germs and if you're starting to get sick it will help. Hope it works for you. babs My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/26/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 108 Amount Saved: $15.75 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 10 Mins: 5 Seconds: 3

Hey DD! Mint Medley tea worked really good for me! You might try a mild peppermint if you have that too. Let us know how you are feeling :) Many Blessings, Eve Proud to be a C.A.R.E. Gargle with warm salt water. Tastes bad, feels better ! Every time it hurts, best before bed. DD, I understand what you mean, but it ISN'T sad that your body is protecting yourself from yourself...it's a MIRACLE! I believe it's our Big Me over-ruling our Little Me, the cranky I-want-it-now part of us. And the miracle includes the healing process...each day a new you!
