Hey Bear... here's a hug.
I hear a plea for some reasoning in this life of ours that is never guaranteed, yet can be so fabulous or frightening in just a moments time. Cigarettes or no cigarettes. This whole struggle with booting an old habit from our lives is just plain hard sometimes. It's like barnacles on a whale, but far more dangerous. If it were easy, everybody who smoked would do it eventually.
I feel like either a cheerleader, or Eore (the negative donkey:) on this site. I want to be supportive, and I also want to be realistic. I think about these things too. For me, entertaining thoughts of smoking is like lighting a match. It has to go somewhere and I obsess about it. Try to acknowledge your feelings here, and then distract yourself with (gee) a walk or a nice dinner out or something?:) What are you going to do for yourself with the money you've saved so far?:) A trip to the Man's Mall?
Hang on.. because it's for you, and you deserve good air and quality life just like anyone else:) I may need you to remind me of these things too someday. We'll make it - and someday I hear we won't even wake up thinking about it!
