I think the answer may depend according to a number of issues.  I suggest submitting a question to our Ask the Expert or talking to your Doctor/Therapist about this.

I am with a bipolar disorder and I would like that anyone could clarify me if can do exposure work with this condition. If so I think that when I am agitated or anxious I could do exposure work and when feel depressed I could plan pleasant activities.
