question about anxious thoughts

17 years ago 0 7 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hello, I am new to the program and was very happy to find it.

Most of my anxiety is centered around there being something physically wrong with me. Any ache or pain no matter how slight can result in my anxiety going through the roof and me thinking of something fatal that could be causing it. I can be very creative heh.

I guess my question is when working on the advanced anxious thought form is that when the evidence is something physical and not emotional it's hard for me to combat my "what if?" thinking. I can and do tell myself all day that w/e it happens to be is nothing, but I always come back to "what if this time it is something and not just my anxiety?"

Any advice on how to get over this hurdle would be appreciated.

Thank you
