In my home building course, I asked for short course on project management.
What I think I wished, was that the instructor could help keep me focused, which is a daily struggle.
His answer was generally, that you get reputable contractors and proceed with due diligence, but of course, this site and using someone outside for those who can, is probably the solution.
It's just such a hard road to follow and there are many supporters.
