Today I decided to take make it easier for mom to eat her cereal. The cereal is high fibre, and it takes a long time for it to get soft, even in milk.
So I took out my immersion blender(which nearly took off my thumb sunday morning), and placed the little pellets of bran into a bowl.
I felt like I was under gunfire. The pellets flew all over the place, and may have taken paint off the peeling ceiling(saving me work in the future). Then I tried to contain the pellets with a towel, but I can't see what I'm doing. Then I tried to pierce glad wrap and wrap it around bowl for visibility and safety. I swept up what I could, but there are still pieces on the floor which I crunch when I walk.
Back to the drawing the board, with a chuckle.
And it's time to change the bandage on my thumb, which is healing from sunday morning's incident. It was too early in the morning, I suppose, since my hand and eye co-ordination wasn't what I hoped. Actually, I think it's called proprioception, since the night before that, I missed a step going down steep concrete steps, and stressed by knees. I skipped the workout that day.
Yesterday, I added too much olive oil to some reheated lentils, and my stomach has been very unhappy.
Everything in moderation
