Interviews

Hi Sunflower,

Having been indecisive, my whole life, I hear you.  What I've learned recently is that I have to step out and try things and some doors will open and some will close.  If I have peace about it, it's right.  Also, you can try things and if you end up not liking them, then it's a process of elimination and you can keep trying other things until you find what's right for you :)  Nothing is a waste, mistake or failure, because you learn and grow throughout the process.  Everyone gets nervous, trying something new, but give it a chance and you'll eventually find what you are looking for.  You'll know what the right thing is, because you will either like what you're doing or you won't.  I wish you well on your adventure in finding what's right for you.  I hope this helps.

I went to 2 job interviews last week. The first one on Monday, went really well. I liked the women there and I thought I did well but didn't get a call back. The other interview was on Saturday and I was offered the job on the spot.

This all sounds like good news except the first one was working with children which is what I went to college to train to do and the other one is as a floral designer, something I went to college for way back in 98.

I need to work to make ends meet so I am going to be starting the floral clerk position this Thursday. I am a bit torn because I haven't really done that type of work for a long time. I am hoping I can do the position. I am also a bit sad because I didn't get the other position. The floral one is for anywhere from one shift to 5 per week and I could also double as a cashier too.

I wonder how do you all make decisions? I struggle and am super indecisive. I don't know what is best for myself, I don't know what I am cut out to do. I wish there was a plan for me that I could be clued into lol.
