Welcome to my world

Sonia,
I'll find something to do, since I rarely even have the time to do "maintenance" things for myself, let alone "reward" myself.  I went downtown to an event, as part of an "exposure" trip, and was irritated by people who enjoying themselves.

That irritation, is  probably the anger I can't express at my helpless mom, who needs help.

I just have to learn to delegate, so I can cut some time away from caregiving, since I am sadder it seems.

I've never always accepted my condition, and tried to pretend I was on a "personal growth" journey, but I guess I need  to say the serenity prayer occasionally, or shake myself into the reality that I'm not living the life of a "normal" person

Hi hugs4U,

Since you say you'll have to go back for the tweaking, will you be rewarding yourself for making the trip again? If so, what kinds of things will you be using to reward yourself?

Ah.

And I thought you were going to tell us about your physical world. Guess I'm just being nosy.

Today I went to have mom's exorbantly priced custombuilt shoes tried, but they were tight.  I was distracted by some rude woman waiting who was swearing under her breath, and felt some guilt since she was in scooter, and there was no room for her to come inside the small shop, although it was warm outisde.

With the shop's 100% guarantee, it is not convenient to go back and tweak the problem, but we'll have to anyway.

He obviously wasn't really finished, since he called us monday, and was working on them when we arrived on saturday.

Now I know why they're called "shoemakers"
