Quote of the Day:
Put yourself in a state of mind where you say to yourself, "Here is an opportunity for me to celebrate like never before, my own power, my own ability to get myself to do whatever is necessary."
- Anthony Robbins

I've only seen this man speak on TV.  I wonder what he does on his "down time".  No-one can be so energetic all the time...there's got to be time to sleep, meditate...

Nothing in life is so hard that you can't make it easier by the way you take it.
- Ellen Glasgow

The one thing over which you have absolute control is your own thoughts. It is this that puts you in a position to control your own destiny.
- Paul G. Thomas

If you can't get a compliment any other way, pay yourself one.
- Mark Twain

Just because something doesn't do what you planned it to do doesn't mean it's useless.
- Thomas A. Edison

It's too early in the morning to think of an example...

The only thing that stands between a man and what he wants from life is often merely the will to try it and the faith to believe that it is possible.
- Richard M. DeVos

The faith came through yesterday as I realized that an overwhelming project was within my grasp.

Sometimes people ask themselves "why didn't I think of that".  I'm finding myself asking "..why didn't believe in myself sooner...."?

Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong.
- Ella Fitzgerald

It's taken years before seeing a return to "normal" after a parent's illness, but it was worth making the sacrifices to regain some similarity to the past, although things will never be the same.

What has happened in your life where you've found love and inspiration, to put it back in balance?

He can who thinks he can, and he can't who thinks he can't. This is an inexorable, indisputable law.
- Henry Ford

It is becoming common to fail, how many times have you heard "bring it back we will fix it".
Some of this I feel is just sloppy work on purpose because you are not going to bring it back.
I feel now that if it works and looks okay it is fine. I'm more concerned with how long it will stand up.

Davit.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
- Confucius

Nothing ventured nothing gained is hidden in this quote, in that we must risk, even minimally.  Image is so important to many in society, but it's becoming common to fail, so we can let go of perfectionism...what do you think?
