I really need to watch myself around chronic complainers and also people with negative attitudes too..This kind of thinking can rub off on a person after a while..Kind of like a contagious disease..Thats why I try to limit my contact and exposure to these kinds of people. All I can say is to each his own...I prefer to look at the positives in my life and deal with the negatives as they come along..I certainly don't want them chasing me down in my own back yard...I have always preferred oranges to apples anyway.....So why eat something that makes me feel sick....
The more I know of people the more I like my cats. Now this is not true of all people obviously but it sure is for some. Back to my oranges and apples. You can deal with people you wouldn't if you have too and go back to your place and your life. But the more you deal with them the more the chance you will pick up their habits. I have to watch myself around chronic complainers so I don't start to do it too. And it is so easy since there seems to be so much out there one could complain about. I'm a recluse by choice but a very social recluse if that is possible. Not many dogs running and barking at the tail end of the pack in my associates and friends.
The more I see of the world out there and on line and especially the people in it the more I realize how happy I am in the world I have created for myself..Surrounded by people I trust, that I really care about and that care about me..
I have learned that it is possible to create a world that you are very happy living in if you are selective about the people you let be a part of your life. You can still go get the supplies you need, take classes, travel and see the world and enjoy it. You just have to be careful about who you let into your inner world. This way you can live a very happy and harmonious life..
