Favorite relaxing activities

When I lived in town I used to love riding my bike in the evening. There is such a different atmosphere in the evening especially in a small town where most of the stores are closed. Right now I like to sit outside and watch the sun go down.
Don't tell anyone, but my mom taught me how to knit. I wonder if I can still do it.

Walking out in nature definitely helps me. Also photography. If I'm at home, something fun and engaging like a board game or video game helps relax me.

Hi Red,

Great topic!  The hobby that relaxes me the most is knitting.  The whole process is theraputic, everything from picking out the pattern to choosing the yarn and creating a gift that will give someone joy.  Even if a pattern doesn't work out, I  still enjoy the process.

Great thread Red!

I am interested in hearing everyones activies.  I personally really enjoy walking.  Looking around the city and just being outside helps me clear my head.

One of my favorite relaxing activities is looking at my favorite photographs and putting them on cd's.  That way I can look at them whenever I like and also save my happy memories forever.  What are your favorite relaxing activities?
