Great work KKDJJ!

These realizations you made are amazing and it takes a lot of strength to get to that point!

What have you learned about yourself going through this?

Good for you. Now that is a really good attitude. Lots of positive thought. If you do get a reaction, then you can look for what caused it. You can't let life pass you by just because your worried, right.

So today, I managed to just eat whatever I wanted without having to worry about which food will raise my blood pressure and get me paranoid and panic. I went to a party... and as i was getting food, the thought of fear stumbled upon me telling me not to eat this and that because i am allergic to it and i will panic. The truth is... I don't know what I'm allergic to.. and according to the allergy test, everything they found was negative so I wasn't really sure what caused hives on my body. But other than that, that means that food can be ruled out.

So during the party... aside from the thought of fear bothering me as I was getting food... at the same time, I just kept shoving the food in my mouth. Fear is only a state of mind. It's the same as other emotions. All I kept telling myself was, "If I'm allergic to it.. then so be it. If I get hives all over my body and get rushed to the hospital.. then so be it. But there was no evidence that food caused my allergic reaction. For that matter, I will not panic." Even though for the rest of the night, I still somewhat backed off from food... 95% of the time, I managed to control my anxious thoughts.

I realized that those who are allergic to stuff cannot be born knowing everything that theyre allergic to. If I am allergic to some substance and all, then it will hit me. But what I am doing to myself is already assuming that I am allergic to these and those even though there are no evidence of it. I will let life be.
