chicagopax,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

As you read other members' posts, a number of them have experienced similar symptoms to yours.

Members, can anyone share their experience with chicagopax? Any advice when working through the program?

I am only 16.

Before this I'd consider myself a pretty calm person, but starting when I got out of school for thanksgiving break I started to break down. Sad to say I am not completely better but I have made improvements.

My orginial symptoms

- Chills [unsure if this is related to me or the fact of the Chicago weather and poor heating]
- Palpitations  these were what scared me the most
- Upset stomach
- Depression
- Near constant thoughts of death

As time progressed I started looking up a few things getting worried about it being diabetes or the like, or possibly a magnesium deficiency. I started to take vitamins again and it seemed to work for a week before the palpatations started to come back.

The palpatations though have gone from lasting from 30 seconds to a few minutes to being just a beat, I also no longer am chilled and actually get hot like I normally do.

Today was what I called a relapse. I woke up feeling perfect, like nothing could go wrong, but heading into my science class watching a movie about heart surgery I went to fall asleep when I started to feel my pulse racing from my wrist. I obviously was worried to the point where the next two periods I would just goto the bathroom just to walk around a little bit. On the bus home I felt really light headed at one point but that subsided quickly.

Honestly this website has helped tremendously, I haven't woken up feeling as good as I did today in months, and I obviously have a lot to thank for that. I am through maybe half the orginial chapters but is there anything people could suggest that would help?

I managed to think that I wasn't going to die whenever I felt like symptoms would start coming and thats done a lot to prevent it but this is a problem I really just want to get past.
