PTSD are the sessions made for it??

Hello Canfor25,

I do not have PTSD either and cannot even begin to imagine how living with that condition is. But I do think that this program has much to offer to anyone suffering from an anxiety disorder. Also, the people on this forum are very warm and wellcoming and understanding. The moderators are great too. I do hope you check in on us again. Welcome to the forums.

If you are looking for support, advice and encouragement, you have come to the right place. There is an excellent program, tools, and resources that are available to you through this site if you choose to explore. We are here to help you, no matter what, and are always here for you.
There is so much support available to you here, and it is more than likely that there is someone who is going through the exact same thing that you are.

Hello, welcome to the forums.
I'm not sure if people with PTSD are here but myself with panic attacks and GAD, have found a lot of support just writing here in the forums. I don't know what it is like to have PTSD, but I think people here are understanding and considering enough to make you feel comfortable and accepted. So welcome and I'm sure there will be some benefit by trying the sessions!

I suffer from severe post traumatic stress disorders. They used to make me pass out between 5 and 27 times a day. I now only pass out 4 to 5 times a week. They are alot like panic disorders as when I find myself in a high stress situation I pass out. My doctor has told me it's like the computer getting over-loaded and locking up, and the pass out is like someone or something hitting a reset button.

I'm starting the session one on my own accord as my doctor has kind of washed his hands of me as apparently I am the only one that can beat this. I am full of doubt as to my ability to beat this, as up to the traumatic event / events that I had occur to me, I was a normal everyday person.

I've been beat as a child, seen numerous dead people ( occupational hazard / being a good semaritan ) and had many other high stress things occur in my life.

What I'm getting at is, is this the right program for me??? I feel like my bucket is full, I have no more room to add any more stress or I'm going to burst ( my friends and family also have informed me I lack feelings.)

Just looking for some support and some imput as to whether I'm in the right place.
