Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to say I agree completely with Alex. The best thing for reducing my anxiety has been a brisk 1 hour walk every day. On days that I don't do it, I'm much more suseptible to anxiety or having a panic attack. (If you do it with a friend who is positive and upbeat, even better). Also, on the advice of my physician, I have eliminated refined sugars from my diet (things like sugar, glucose, fructose, corn syrup, white flour, etc.), which has also helped to reduce my symptoms. Apparently, they cause big fluctuations in insulin levels, which then causes an increase in stress hormone production (for me anyway). Overall, I have found a good diet, exercise and adequate sleep are essential to keeping my anxiety and panic in check. When I get off track with any or all of these, as I tend to do when under stress, the anxiety comes flooding back.
