Introceptive Exposure

Kittcat, The idea is to adjust to the physical sensations associated with panic so when they occur in response to a trigger, they won't scare you as much so to speak. Yes, you should give introceptive exposure. It's a great stepping stone to other forms of exposure. Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator

What is the purpose of introceptive exposure? Are you trying to simulate panic attack symptoms so you get used to them? I don't experience a lot of the typical symptoms that introceptive exposure attemtps to simulate. Should I try to simulate them anyways? Thanks.
