Hello Jo, I am sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Be good to yourself and give yourself time to grieve and process all this. You will get through this :) -Diva

Jo, In times of stress it is very important to be sure you are taking good care of yourself. This includes eating properly, resting enough, engaging in pleasurable and/or relaxing activities. If you are experiencing anxiety as a result of certain situations or upcoming events, do take the time to employ your relaxation techniques prior to the event and thought challenge before, during and after. This is indeed a very hard time for you and your family but it will get better. Just takes time. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator

Hi Jo, Sorry to hear about your father-in-law.Even if someone has been ill it is still a shock when they pass away. Just thought I'd check in with you to see how you are feeling. How did it go last night with seeing your friends? I find sometimes that spending time with other people takes my mind off how I am feeling - although you do not feel like socialising, once you get there it can be ok. With the sleeping thing, I would recommend that you try to maintain a routine & get up at a decent time each day even if you have not got to sleep until late. You can always try to have a nap later on in the day if you feel tired. Let us know how you are Take care Kel

My Husband lost his Dad a week or so ago so its been very hard although he was ill for sometime its still hard as its an adjustment. We are trying to get back to normal but having funny feelings does not help but I am trying to carry on as normal but I don't like going out when I feel a bit funny, today though I feel really tired I don't seem to be able to get to sleep to gone 1 in the morning but do lie in and now today I have funny tummy had it couple of times recently but not like today, we going to a school friend of my Husbands tonight which until recently not seen for years so bit nervous about that.
