Hiya Jo, Well you got a lot of great advice already so I won't repeat it. But I do want to say I agree with Vickers, even the most calm and centered individual could freak out with all that stuff on their plate! Hey, I really admire how well you have been handling it. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I feel for you and that whenever you need support please feel free to come on here and chat with us :) Hang in there and remember this too shall pass! -Diva

Jo, Obviously, you've got a lot going on in your life. It is now more important than ever to take good care of yourself and continue to utilize the strategies you've learned here such as thought challenging and relaxation techniques. Finding ways to release the stress and other emotions you may be feeling can help keep it from coming up in other ways. Keep us posted. Danielle, Bilingual Support Specialist

Hey Jo! No wonder you're having lots of anxiety and panic right now! You've got a load on your plate! :8o: That would make even the most centered person freak out a bit. Don't worry about the dizzy, unreal feeling. That is a very normal anxiety / panic symptom. It's my main anxiety trigger right now. The problem is, that I expect it to happen, and so it does. :confuse: A work in progress. When you get that feeling, just keep telling yourself it's just the anxiety and that you will be ok. It helps to take what you're feeling and get it down on paper - or on computer - so use the Panic Program offered here if you haven't already started it. But, just remember that it will not harm you. You will not faint. It is an awful feeling though!!! But, try to remember that in order to faint, you need a sudden drop in blood pressure. Anxiety increases your blood pressure slightly and gets the adrenaline pumping, so you can't possibly faint from it. Anyway.... what you are feeling is a normal physical reaction to stress, anxiety and panic. It will not harm you. Hang in there and come back to vent when you need it! Remember - You are stronger than you feel.
